STOP THE MEANNESS! SPREAD THE KINDNESS

Is your daughter or son being picked on? Teased at school? Bullied? Excluded? Wondering why no one is doing anything about it? Don’t know what to do?

Parents don’t wait! Take matters into your own hands.
Bring Girls Empowered, Boys Empowered or Kids Empowered program to your home.

Invite 4 parents and their children to join you and your child in learning:
*how to deal with relational aggression, bullying, and mean-spirited behavior
*how to stand up for yourself and others
*how parent’s can support their children in handling relational aggression, bullies, and mean spirited behavior
*how to bully–proof your child (PREVENTION is always the best way)

3 different sessions available (Can do one or all three)
1 ½ hours
$25 per parent/child $15 additional sibling or parent

Workshop 1: They did what?
You and your child will share the situations that are happening to your child or the kids in their school. We will discuss ways to respond to those situations. We will also discuss ways you and your child can support other children who are being picked on.

Workshop 2: Strategy Time
You and your child will learn 10 different strategies in dealing with relational aggression, bullying and mean-spirited behavior.

Workshop 3: Pick Your Stick- Coping with Bullies & Peer interactions
This interactive discussion teaches you and your child the different responses they can choose in a conflict situation and social situations. You will learn about five roles children often play in social circles: the Mean Kid, the Bystander, the Doormat, the Instigator & the Empowered Kid. You will learn what it looks like to be mean, to be a bystander, to be walked all over and to stand up for yourself.
